Marriott International and Insight Direct have partnered to extend competitive pricing for your non-Marriott Technology Purchases. Franchise Technologists may place technology orders online using Insight Direct's web ordering tool for Marriott and non-Marriott properties.

eProcurement Process (preferred method)

This method assumes that orders being placed online are pre-approved, and do not require an additional approval step.

Before using Insight Direct's web ordering tool, you must request an eProcurement ID via IDentity Center to gain access to the eProcurement website. You will receive your ID within 24 hours.

To Place your Order online using eProcurement:

  1. Review the Order Instructions (DOC) when placing your order.
  2. Go to the Insight Direct website.
  3. Enter the Username and Password provided by Global Technology Procurement & Asset Management.
  4. Select your items from the appropriate Current Product Group (bundle).
  5. Indicate the Ship To address and shipping method. Also see Overnight Order Expectations
  6. Indicate the Bill To address.
  7. Complete the custom checkout page.
  8. Submit your order.
  9. Once your order has entered Insight Direct's system, you will be given a Web Reference Number to track your order.

Phone Orders (PO)

  1. Call Global Technology Procurement & Asset Management at +1 (240) 632-6000, opt. 5, for a Purchasing Analyst.
  2. The Purchasing Analyst will prepare the Phone Order for you, then forward it to the approving manager.
  3. Once approved and sent back, the Phone Order will be processed.
  4. A confirmation will be sent to the approving manager and requestor.
  5. Once your order has been entered into Insight Direct's system, you will be given an Order Confirmation number to track your order.

Overnight Order Expectations

Technology orders placed on the Insight Direct website by 3:00 p.m. ET with overnight shipping designated, will be processed immediately. However, the ability for items to be received the next day is dependent on product availability and the physical location of the item(s) in the US (i.e., East or West coast warehouses).
