Click the Start button (Windows logo) at the bottom of your screen.
Select the Settings (gear icon).
You can also press Windows key + I on your keyboard.
In the Settings window, go to System (usually selected by default).
Scroll down and click on Activation in the left-side menu.
At the top, you'll see your current activation status (e.g., Windows 11 Home/Pro, Activated or Not Activated).
Find the Upgrade your edition of Windows section.
Click Go to the Store (you may see it as a button or a link).
This will open the Microsoft Store, where you can purchase an official Windows 11 license key for your edition.
Complete your purchase using your Microsoft account and preferred payment method.
After your purchase, the key will be applied automatically, or instructions provided on how to enter it.
In the Activation menu, click Change product key.
Enter your new 25-character Windows 11 product key.
Click Next and follow prompts to activate.
Windows will now verify your product key.
If successful, you'll see a confirmation message that Windows is activated.
