M3 Accounting Core - Resolve Printer Connection Issue

If you selected a default printer in Core and continuously receive "Waiting for printer connection" prompt with every keystroke like the screenshot below. Follow the steps in this article to resolve connection issue.















  1. Open Printers & Scanners:

    • Type "Printers & Scanners" into the search bar at the bottom left of the screen and open it.

  2. Select the Printer:

    • Choose Microsoft Print to PDF.


  3. Select Set as default.


4) Once you have set it as the default, scroll down and turn off Let Windows manage my default printer.



5.) Please close out of and reopen Accounting Core.



If this didn't fix the issue, this usually happens if you still have a printer in your Printers & Scanners that is no longer in use. This printer may be disconnected, and the computer is still looking for the printer that isn't there. It's recommended to remove any printers that are no longer connected to your network. Below are the instructions to remove printers from your Windows computer:


1.) Type in and open Printers & Scanners into the search bar at the bottom of the screen.





2.) Select a printer that you want to remove.



3.) Click Remove.
