Booking.com SSO - Marriott

Starting April 30, 2024, existing user logins will be converted to a new Single Sign-On (SSO) process. SSO will link the Booking.com extranet username to the user’s Marriott EID and require the user to use their Marriott EID, EID password and 2-factor authentication to access
the Booking.com extranet.
The initial activation took place with multiple activation batches during Q2 & Q3 2024 with ~ 7K users and in January 2025 with ~8 K users. The rollout has now been put on hold and is scheduled to resume in H2 2025.
This new SSO method will apply to all users, who have access to at least one Marriott property. This includes on-property as well as above-property users, managed as well as franchised users. Users, who do not have a valid Marriott EID, will eventually be unable to access the Booking.com extranet for any Marriott property.
